I missed out on these...

Dear Lacqueristas,

My NOTD is a bit sad. Can you tell what it is?

OPI Ink Suede

Did you guess it was a suede? I bet you did. I never thought I would like this finish by swatches I've seen. Untill I was finally able to get hold of a bottle myself, just to try. I LOVED it! OPI's suede polishes are matte but contain tons of shimmer.
The sad part is... OPI discontinued their suedes.... So far I own Ink suede and Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow suede. I'd love to own all of them.

Do you like suedes, and which ones do you like best? And, even more important, do you know if they are still sold online somewhere?

I bought some of them when they were still on TD, one I got by swapping and now I have them all. I do like them all! Ink and HTAT are my fav's though. It looks pretty on you!

i own 4-5 of them and i really like the finish but they were difficult to apply. i kept getting streaky spots and said forget it. i didn't know they were discontinued because the ULTA near me seems to always have them in stock.

your swatch is beautiful btw.

I go to school for cosmetology and they had all of the seude colors. My fav was Ink Suede. The only thing I really didn't like about them, was that over time they got really thick and just didn't apply very well. :(
But other than that, I loved the colors and the finish!

They do look lovelllly :) The avon mattes seem to be similar...have a nice shimmer and very cheap too!!

hi! is it 100% sure opi discontinued their Suedes? Because I know they have discontinued their "mattes" , but on their web site there's still a page for suedes... strange, could you confirm this information? Thanks a lot!

I have Russian Navy suede and I love it. One week I can wear without a top coat and it looks like blue jeans. Then I can add a top coat and it has a different look.
