Glitter marble manicure

Dear Lacqueristas,

A marbled manicure with glitters, that was what I had in mind. In my mind it was all pretty and sparkly and bold and I even added some holographic swirls to spice it up. Unfortunately my mani turned out not as pretty in real life.
What happened is that the glittah polish got a veil of the other colors over it. So the glitters are not that evident. Also, I can't seem to get the same pattern, my nails look like individual psychedelic pieces of art instead of a consistent unified piece. The ring finger and Pinky came out as my favorites.

I used the following polishes:
  • Collistar 43 Viola Glitter
  • Yves Saint Laurent #18
  • Sephora Lime Green
Did you ever marble with glitter polish? How did it turn out?

Hasta la vista, Laqueristas!

Thats a fab job, the colours contrast well

I think its near impossible to get the same pattern on every nail.. the polish gets a mind of its own!!

I find its always so cold my water cools down too fast ..its a pain!

That is so funky! The colours look so good next to each other. I need to try this out sometime :P

That looks awesome! That's a great color combination. I should really try marbling, but I have a feeling it wouldn't turn out as nice as yours. :P

Ooh see, I like the middle finger best!

I still think these marbling looks are very Pucci-esque...

Very cool! I love the marble look, but it seems very involved, so I haven't tried it yet.
