My first 7 coater! Neon skittles Hidden Treasurized....

Dear Lacqueristas,

I just received my China Glaze Poolside collection. I ordered all but one because I just knew Sun Worshipper would look horrible one me.

Have a look at my skittles and guess wich one is the 7 coater????? The other nails are 4 coats each. In my opinion 7 coats is rediculous. I know that a lot of Lacqueristas prefer to use a opaque white as a base for neons but I didn't want to do that for swatching.

The answer is Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. Come on, 7 coats? I didn't even count the base coat, just the color. For these swatch I didn't use a topcoat to show you the matte finish of neons.

The formula's on these where so so, because they were so sheer. My favorite formula was Pool Party and my least favorite Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. That was one streaky mess.

Then I just HAD to swatch my newly obtained Hidden Treasure over my neon skittles:

I had to censor the smudge on my pinky

It's so difficult to capture the beauty of a flaky but my favorite was over Towel Boy Toy and Pool Party.

Why is it that yellows always seem to have awfull formulas?

Dear Lacqueristas,

Oh yes I'm guilty of many things. I sing in the shower, I leave my cereal bowl on the table when I'm in a hurry knowing my bf would clean it up, bad words slip out occasionally, and yes, I jump on band wagons.

Skittle mani's are so hot right now, they come in many forms and shapes depending on the creativity of the Lacquerista. I've seen and sported Neon skittles, Holo skittles, Vampy skittles. Right now pastel skittles are totally En Vogue.
Considering I was gonna visit my little nieces AND my love for pastels I polishes myself a skittle mani. I can't believe how many compliments I got that day! And the funny part is that usually I get woman noticing my mani's but this day it was the men loving it! Plus I have my co-workers craving a skittle mani as well!

Then yesterday I was gonna go to my hometown for the easter family happening. I'm so obsessed by my little nieces who are ofcourse the most adorable and cutest 3 and 6 year olds in the world, I wanted to surprise them with a nice take on my skittles. I went through my Konad Image Plates and found the perfect designs to match pastels:

My nieces where thrilled, they immediatly noticed my nails and had me promising them that I'd do the same mani for them when they sleep over. So cute! Can't wait to do their adorable lil nails!
